Nano is a CLI tool, and most post-NT Windows users dislike CLI severely for obvious, and on Linux you are essentially forced to use CLI, like it or not, because any Unix-like is build with CLI shell as a main component in mind, unless devs done exceptional job to hide this, like in OSX.
